LGA Hosts Impromptu Broadway Sing-Off [VIDEO]

Posted in At the Terminal, Domestic US, LGA

Seeing a Broadway show is going to set you back at least $50 and that’s just for the worst seats in the house. If you’re a sucker for showtunes but not a big spender, how are you supposed to get the magic of Broadway into your own life? Well, if you’re like some recent LaGuardia passengers, you don’t have to do anything at all because the show will come to you.

Recent delays at LGA left the casts of both The Lion King and Aladdin stranded and waiting long hours for their flights (side note: looks like Disney has really taken over the Broadway box office game…), so what did they do? They challenged each other to a good ol’ fashioned sing-off in the terminal.

From the looks of it, this is probably the best thing to happen to LaGuardia in decades (I’m clearly not the biggest fan of LGA). Take a look as the Lion King cast belts out “The Circle of Life” while the Genie from Aladdin shows off his freestylin’ skills before the whole cast jumps into a rousing rendition of “Arabian Nights.”
