New Lounge Opens at SEA-TAC

Posted in At the Terminal, Domestic US, SEA

You may be partial to the Admirals Club or the United Club, but if you’re not affiliated with an airline-specific lounge, this news is for you. The Club, that independent open-to-all shared-use lounge, has expanded yet again and now they’re operating in Seattle’s SEA-TAC airport.

There will actually be two The Club lounges at SEA-TAC, with the main lounge in Concourse A and a smaller version in the South Satellite near Gate S9. What can you expect at The Club? Check out these amenities listed on The Club’s website:

Some of the amenities that allow you to work and be productive are:

  • Telephones
  • Wi-fi Access
  • Work Stations / PCs

Some of the amenities that allow you to relax are:

  • Free Snacks and Drinks

  • Bar Service

  • Newspapers / Magazines

  • TVs

  • Conference Facility*

  • Disabled Access

The Club at SEA

The Club has really been beefing up their efforts in the last year, opening The Club at PHX and The Club at CVG to bring their total number of lounges up to nine. Instead of spending major dollars on a yearly membership or even $50 for a Day Pass to one of the carrier-affiliated lounges, The Club offers Day Passes for $35. While United has vowed to up the ante for their lounge food offerings, you’ll really need to ask yourself if it’s worth an extra $15 to chow down on United hummus when you have a cheaper option available at The Club.

The Club at SEA is located in concourse A, across from Gate A11, open daily from 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and in the south satellite next to Gate S9 and will be open daily 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

    • Thanks for the head’s up! Oddly, enough, I think I spelled it that way because of my love for the movie SNEAKERS, which features a fictional company called SEATEC Electronics! Fixed!
