The Original Farmers Market Opens at LAX

Posted in Uncategorized

Back in November, the very first month of Fly&Dine’s existence, we covered the news that LA’s Original Farmers Market (the one at 3rd and Fairfax since 1934) would be opening a satellite location in Delta’s Terminal 5 at LAX. Now, seven months later, we’re happy to report that the brand new LAX location of The Original Farmers Market is now open!

Is it a game changer? Eh… I wouldn’t go that far. It’s nice to have even more local options in the terminal, though. On top of the Rock & Brews and Lemonade outlets that already existed, you can now dig into high quality regional Mexican fare from ¡Loteria! Grill, all kinds of charcuterie and other Frenchie things at Monsieur Marcel, pastries from T&Y Bakery, coffee, and more. It’s like a little food court in there. There’s even treats from The Dog Bakery, so you can spoil your little pooch if you’re traveling with Fido or you can pick up a bag of dog cookies on your way home to apologize for abandoning your fur-child.
