25 New Restaurants Coming to FLL

Posted in At the Terminal, Domestic US, FLL

If you’re flying through South Florida in the next few years, you can look forward to brand new dining options thanks to airport restaurant mavens HMSHost. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is getting a major culinary upgrade in two phases over the next four years and that means you can finally snag some Starbucks as you suffer through the Floridian heat. You can also expect Shula Burger, named after legendary Miami Dolphins coach Don Shula (also owner of Shula’s Steak House); Air Margaritaville, an outpost of Jimmy Buffet’s tropical-themed restaurants; as well as Fort Lauderdale favorite Tarpon Bend Food & Tackle; Offerdahl’s Cafe Grill; Sergio’s; BurgerFi; Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza; and Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar.

Oh, by the way, Air Margarita is going to have a scale replica of Jimmy Buffet’s flying boat, so… BOOK YOUR TICKETS TO FLL NOW (and then wait for the flying boat replica to arrive some time before 2017). Go ahead. Have a cheeseburger in paradise — or at least near it.

  1. Am I the only person that misses Corky’s at FLL (replaced by Food Network Kitchen)? Best ribs of any airport eatery I’ve ever been to, and pretty good compared to many decent casual dining establishments
