Fly&Dine Photo Tour: Madrid Days 2, 3, & 4

Posted in Europe, On the Ground, Spain

It’s absolutely ridiculous that my trip to Madrid is almost over. I feel like I’ve only just begun to understand this wonderful city and I would likely need a full month to truly know what I was doing here. That said, I’m loving every moment of Madrid. I’ve seen priceless works of art at the Prado, holograms (um, just FYI, NH Hotels is introducing holograms into their business meeting packages so if you’re into the future and stuff, you now know where to hold your next conference), and more jamon iberico than seems humanly possible. Now you get to see that, too. Buckle up, Fly&Diners, we’re going on another photo tour.

The photo above is from the members-only Casino de Madrid. Not an actual casino, but a gorgeous private club that offers just about everything a hotel offers except rooms. Mas fotos aqui:

Picasso’s famous “Guernica” at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia.

The deli counter at the brand new Platea, a mixed-use gastrocenter full of just about everything you’d want to eat.

Another innovation coming to NH Hotels: in-room Skype calling to the front desk via tablets imbedded into the desk in the guest room.

One hell of a truffle.

The beautiful gardens at Parque de Retiro.

And… es todo.
