You may or not know that this Sunday is National Cheeseburger Day. While we can spend all day arguing the merits of a made-up holiday like this, there’s no way to argue with what Delta has chosen to do to celebrate the day. Thanks to their partnership with Union Square Hospitality Group, Delta is going to be giving away FREE SHAKE SHACK SHACKBURGERS!!!

If you’re lucky enough to be flying in Delta One on Sunday from JFK to LAX, you’ll get yourself a hot and juicy burger from Shake Shack. If you’re not in Delta One, you’ll still be getting a voucher for a free burger from the brand new Shake Shack in LA’s West Hollywood neighborhood. WHAT A WAY TO CELEBRATE!

A little background on Shake Shack:

Since the original Shack opened in 2004 in NYC’s Madison Square Park, the company has opened multiple locations including two locations in Terminal 4 (T4) at JFK International Airport in Queens, NY. The first JFK Shack opened on May 24, 2013, near Gate B37. The second JFK Shack opened in the same terminal on July 5, 2014, near Gate B23. Both T4 locations offer all the Shack classics plus breakfast sandwiches daily until 11 AM.
