Like a quick Caribbean rainstorm in August, my St. Lucia trip coverage has now come to an end. I know — I’m sad to see it go, too. If you missed anything, check out all of my stories from the trip below. Major thanks to the St. Lucia Tourist Board for sponsoring the trip and I hope some of you make it down to the island soon. It’s truly a beautiful place.
I think you have to differentiate between the inclusive restaurants and room service. In my experience at 9 stays at various Sandals, I’ve noticed enormous waste of food from the room service orders which is why the portions are so small. The majority treat the room service meals as a snack and not a meal, so previously I would see half a meal put out for pick up with the majority wasted. I’d rather see small portions than tons of food thrown out. On that note, how were the restaurants there? You mentioned your least favorite…what was your favorite?
I enjoyed Armando’s, but the service was pretty bad there.
